Al-Noman Foundation operates six core programs across Benin, Palestine, and beyond. Each program is built on the belief that every person deserves access to clean water, education, food, spiritual spaces, mobility, and safety. More than 90% of every dollar donated goes directly to the people who need it most. Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, yet millions of people in rural Benin still rely on contaminated rivers and ponds for their daily water needs. Waterborne diseases are among the leading causes of illness and death, particularly among children under five. Women and girls spend hours each day walking miles to collect water, time that could be spent in school or earning a livelihood.
Al-Noman Foundation builds water wells in rural communities throughout Benin, providing safe, clean drinking water to hundreds of families with each well. A single well can serve an entire village, dramatically reducing disease, keeping girls in school, and freeing families to focus on building better lives.
Education is the single most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. In the communities we serve, many children are unable to attend school because their families cannot afford basic supplies like shoes, notebooks, or school bags. In many underserved communities across Benin, families worship in open fields or crumbling structures that offer little protection from the elements. Children learn the Quran under trees, and community gatherings happen without shelter or dignity.
Al-Noman Foundation is committed to building and restoring mosques in communities that lack proper places of worship. Each mosque we construct becomes a center for spiritual growth, education, and community unity. These are places where marriages are celebrated, the bereaved find comfort, and children discover their faith alongside their neighbors.
For people living with physical disabilities in Benin, the lack of a wheelchair means confinement. It means dependence on others for every basic need, isolation from community life, and the inability to attend school or earn a living. In many rural areas, there is simply no access to mobility equipment, and families cannot afford the cost.
Al-Noman Foundation's Be Mobile program provides wheelchairs to individuals in need throughout Benin. Each wheelchair we deliver represents far more than a piece of equipment; it is the restoration of independence, dignity, and the ability to participate fully in life. Recipients can return to school, rejoin their communities, and move through the world on their own terms.
When crisis strikes, Al-Noman Foundation responds. Our Save Gaza campaign provides essential means of life to people in Gaza, Palestine, who face unimaginable hardship every day. Families have been displaced from their homes, children have lost access to schools and medical care, and entire communities struggle to secure food, clean water, and basic supplies.
Through our trusted local partners on the ground, every dollar donated to Save Gaza goes directly toward food packages, clean water, medical supplies, hygiene kits, and shelter materials for families in desperate need. We believe that no political border should determine whether a child eats, whether a mother receives medical care, or whether a family has a roof over their head.
