While many nonprofits spend 30-40% of donations on overhead and administration, we have built Al-Noman Foundation on a volunteer-driven model that keeps overhead to an absolute minimum. Here is where your money goes:

  • 90%+ Direct Program Services The vast majority of every dollar funds our core programs: building water wells in Benin, sponsoring students' education, providing daily bread and nutritious meals to families in need, constructing and restoring places of worship, and delivering humanitarian aid to Palestine, Turkey, and Yemen.
  • ~5% Fundraising & Outreach A small portion covers essential fundraising activities including payment processing fees (Stripe, PayPal), website hosting, campaign promotion, and community outreach to raise awareness for our programs and attract new supporters.
  • ~5% Administrative & Operations Minimal administrative costs cover essential operations such as banking fees, insurance, legal compliance, IRS filings, state registrations, and communication tools. Our volunteer team donates their time and expertise, eliminating salary costs entirely.

Al-Noman Foundation was founded in 2021. As a young, volunteer-driven nonprofit, our annual revenue is currently below the IRS Form 990 filing threshold ($50,000). We are committed to filing Form 990 as our revenue grows and publishing full financial reports annually on this page. In the meantime, we provide complete transparency through the information below and are happy to share detailed financial records upon request.
