About This Campaign
In Benin, people with physical disabilities often face isolation, poverty, and a lack of basic mobility. Without a wheelchair, many are confined to their homes, unable to attend school, work, or participate in their communities.
The Be Mobile campaign provides wheelchairs and mobility aids to people with disabilities in Benin. A single wheelchair can transform someone's life — enabling them to go to school, earn a living, and live with dignity and independence.
We source durable, locally-appropriate wheelchairs and work with communities to identify those most in need. Each wheelchair is personally fitted and delivered, and we follow up to ensure recipients can use and maintain their new mobility aid.
