Ramadan is a month of fasting, prayer, and generosity. For families in Benin who are already struggling to eat, the long days of fasting can be especially difficult when they have little or nothing to break their fast with at sunset.
For just $2, you can provide a complete iftar meal — rice, salad, a refreshing drink, and fish — to a family breaking their fast. This simple, nutritious meal provides the sustenance needed to continue fasting the next day and the energy to pray through the night.
Our team in Benin prepares and distributes hundreds of iftar meals daily throughout Ramadan. Each meal is freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients and delivered to families and community gathering points before sunset.
